Psychosocial support and raising awareness regarding migration crisis
Migration crisis is a very hot topic. Although it is a relatively small number of refugees within the V4, there is a significant increase in xenophobia manifested in expression and behavior. The current situation poses many questions and misunderstandings, which need to be resolved. We have decided to be active in this matter.
Thanks to Visegrad Fund, four NGOs from four different countries cooperate to provide psychosocial support and raise awareness about migration crisis. ADRA Czech Republic, ADRA Slovakia associated with the Evangelical School in Martin, Polish Medical Mission and Hungarian Baptist Aid cooperate in organizing presentations for elementary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary and conferences in Bratislava and Krakow. All activities are focused on education and prevention of intolerance and xenophobia.. They are also helpful in managing the integration process of refugees. Exchange of experience at international level is a great advantage because it allows us to learn from each other and thus handle the situation better.
The project will run from January 2017 and will be completed in October 2017. More information about funders and project partners can be found at the following websites:
