You will be able to listen to the opinions and advice of three female experts as well as the victim of violence herself, who is now living her own dignified life. Admission is free.<\/p>\n<p>This continuation of the discussion with the team of experts <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adra.sk\/en\/pomoc-obetiam-nasilia-kit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>KIT - Crisis Intervention Team ADRA Slovakia<\/strong><\/a> (psychologist, social worker and lawyer), we decided to organize it also in Bansk\u00e1 Bystrica as the region which is the least covered by services to help victims of violence. The purpose of the discussion is to help the victims realise that what they are experiencing may be violence and to give them the opportunity to seek help and provide them with options for solving their problems. Professionals from the helping professions have the opportunity to share their experiences as well as learn something new that can help them in practice. The discussion is intended for anyone who is interested in this issue or has come into contact with such victims or works directly with them. Listen, ask questions, speak up and you will learn that every situation can be solved.\u00a0<strong>Everyone has the right to be happy. Daniela Borzov\u00e1<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n<p>Lawyer, 7 years investigator PZ violent crime, specialization domestic violence, interrogation of minors, doctoral studies in criminal law, publishing in the field of domestic violence, investigation tactics including children, completed professional training in the issue of domestic violence and violence against women, worked as an advisor to the National Hotline for Women, currently cooperates with NGOs working in the field of domestic violence, including the direct provision of legal services to the B\u017dD, graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava, law.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4><em><strong>Mgr. Ivana Klimentov\u00e1<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n<p>She studied social work at Matej Bel University in Bansk\u00e1 Bystrica. During her studies she worked with marginalized groups such as people with disabilities and children with different kinds of disabilities in hippotherapy. She was active in the Bansko-Bystrica scene as a field social worker in the project V.I.S-Exchange of needles and syringes within the Harm Reduction approach. During her field service, her work was profiled to work with sex-workers and sex-workers and she reached people who were trafficked, where she encountered all forms of violence. She worked as a counselling supervisor and crisis counsellor at the \u201c Woman in distress\u201c counselling centre, and later at the National Hotline for Women Experiencing Violence. Currently, she works as a social worker and project manager at the largest women's safe house in Slovakia. Academically, she works at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, where she is working on her dissertation on social service delivery systems for women experiencing violence.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4><em><strong>Mgr. \u017dofia Szapuov\u00e1<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n<p>She graduated in psychology, in her thesis she dealt with the topic <i>\u201ePsychological characteristics of perpetrators of violent crime against women in partnered relationships.\u201c <\/i>Gender equality and violence against women has been an important issue for her since the beginning of her studies. She has been involved in various projects where she has been able to broaden and deepen her knowledge, she has also been involved in research and studies, such as Special groups of women at risk of violence - Roma women. She has attended many courses and trainings in order to be able to provide women with the most specific help they really need. She has attended courses <i>as Violence against women for the crisis line<\/i>, <i>Legal minimum in criminal law and civil, family law and social protection of children<\/i>, <i>Fundamentals of psychotraumatology and basics of crisis intervention. <\/i>She gained practical experience with women experiencing violence at the Institute for Labour and Family Research as a counsellor at the National Hotline for Women Experiencing Violence and at the MyMommy Safe Women's Home, where she completed a work placement.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4><em><strong>ADRA Slovakia<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n<p>A professional humanitarian and development organisation, member of a network of 141 ADRA offices worldwide.
