This year we are celebrating 25 years of our humanitarian and development organization ADRA Slovakia. During the summer anniversary celebration you had the opportunity to learn more or less formally - how we help in the poorest regions of the world, but also at home in Slovakia. Also this year, during Saturdays with \u201eadra\u201c (8 December)<\/strong> we will give you an overview of our work and how you can get involved with us.<\/p>\n

Thematically, during the Saturday with \u201eadra\u201c we will focus on the work of our KIT<\/strong> (Crisis Intervention Team) and its important \u201cLiving with Dignity\u201d campaign. The main slogan is: \u201eI am what I may!?\u201c with the subtitle: relationships and violence<\/strong>. The KIT experts will try to explain to the attendees how this relates to values such as love and justice, and whether psychology and law can help us in this. We will also look at a specific example of a client where a case of domestic violence was dealt with. Although it is not a cheerful topic, it can be presented to the elderly and children in an engaging, sensitive and informative way.<\/p>\n
