The situation of the DSS in which Covid-19 occurred is dramatic. Many sick clients and staff. For several weeks now, volunteers from our HELP teams have been helping in the most affected homes.<\/p>\n
ADRA is looking for more volunteers for the HELP team. Who can join?
\n- Healthcare professionals, medics, caregivers, nursing assistants, people with experience of caring for the elderly
\n- Covid-19 survivors, vaccination completion, or experience working in an infectious zone
\n- Working in red zones with covid-19 positive clients, (all day in a space suit)
\n- Continuous 24\/7 service in a \u201ebubble\u201c on a closed ward in turns of 4-7 days, or on day and night duty
\n- Coping with the onslaught and stress, accommodation directly on the ward...<\/p>\n
Job description: day and night care for sick seniors in the DSS. Feed, administer medication, help with hygiene, assist with daily needs, show compassion...<\/p>\n
