ADRA has received an unusually large humanitarian donation in recent days. It is 12 m long and weighs 18 tons! We received a bus as a donation. It was donated to us by Slovensk\u00e1 autobusov\u00e1 doprava Zvolen.<\/p>\n
What's he gonna do for us?<\/p>\n

For the last few months we have been struggling in Slovakia with solutions for mobile collection points and vaccination. The bus will serve as a mobile laboratory for crisis intervention teams. We will transport doctors and health workers and create the facilities of a mobile ambulance and laboratory on the ground, especially in areas where accessibility is more difficult.<\/p>\n
We are now intensively preparing the rebuilding so that the bus can serve its full mission as soon as possible. We have removed most of the seats, separated the clean zone for transporting the team from the red zone for collections, we are building facilities for the staff... This will create a special vehicle to help the medics during the pandemic.<\/p>\n
