During our monitoring trip to Ukraine, we visited two refugee centres in Kryvyi Rih.<\/strong><\/div>\n

The first centre, run by ADRA volunteers, has a capacity of 30 beds and the second centre has 60 beds for individuals and 20 for families.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

During our visit, we had intensive conversations with the displaced people. It is important to mention that Kryvyi Rih is the first major city behind the front line to receive more than 65,000 IDPs. Thousands of people here are waiting for the moment when they will be able to return to their homes. Unfortunately, many of them have nowhere to return to.<\/div>\n

We have been immensely affected by the photographs of people and families who have taken refuge here, whether for short or long term periods. As part of our visit, we presented the facility with washing machines, a microwave oven and food aid packages from SlovakAid.<\/div>\n
