{"id":31688,"date":"2024-05-24T11:02:25","date_gmt":"2024-05-24T11:02:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adra.sk\/?p=31688"},"modified":"2024-05-27T08:58:41","modified_gmt":"2024-05-27T08:58:41","slug":"bezpecna-voda-pre-rodiny-v-libanone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.adra.sk\/en\/bezpecna-voda-pre-rodiny-v-libanone\/","title":{"rendered":"Safe water for families in Lebanon"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color\"><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The unavailability of safe drinking water in Lebanon poses a challenge not only for Syrian refugee families, but also for the local Lebanese community.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"ap2m8\" data-offset-key=\"788g7-0-0\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"xdj266r x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs x126k92a\">\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Many households are forced to use water stored in ponds, tanks or reservoirs which are unsafe and lead to various health problems such as cholera, hepatitis A and scabies.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">By distributing 1,082 plastic tanks with a capacity of 1,000 litres, we have strengthened the capacity of low-income households in six areas in the Bika valley that were struggling with limited access to water.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">One of these households includes the family of Mrs. Malak, for whom the reservoir has provided access to safe drinking water and improved their quality of life.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p><iframe title=\"Safe water for families in the Bikaa Valley in Lebanon | ADRA Slovakia\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/W6YMY9B5nmc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
