Ange Uwamahoro is a single mother who lives in an old shack with her four children.<\/p>\n

The children are semi-orphans who live only with their mother, who is unable to pay for their school fees and other basic necessities they need to survive. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Uwamahoro was separated from her husband during the Congo war. As a refugee, she and her children ended up in Kyaka II camp in Uganda. To this day, she does not know where her husband ended up after the war or if he is still alive. \"\"
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Household of five<\/span><\/span><\/span> relies solely on monthly support from the World Food Programme (WFP). This is barely enough for basic food. Therefore, it is necessary for children to start going to school where they also receive a hot lunch every day. <\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong> He lives in a refugee community with people from Congo, Rwanda, Burundi in Kyjaka II refugee camp in Uganda.<\/div>\n

Family income:<\/strong> WFP food fund support of 12 000 UGX (3.-\u20ac)\/month\/person.<\/div>\n
