Join 10 months<\/strong> to the team ADRA Uganda<\/strong> and help change people's lives through technology, education and stories that deserve to be heard.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n Uganda is home to nearly two million refugees and countless communities facing challenges related to access to education, livelihoods and healthcare. ADRA Uganda<\/strong> has been working since 1987 and since 1999 has been intensively helping refugees in camps such as Kyaka II, Bidi Bidi and Rwarwanja. <\/span><\/p>\n The project focuses on strengthening digital and communication capacities<\/strong> local actors, in particular the ADRA Uganda team, to implement development and humanitarian projects more effectively.<\/span><\/p>\n Through his or her work, the volunteer will contribute to raising the visibility of important issues such as the right to education and environmental protection, and will leave behind a lasting legacy in the form of educational materials and tools that will be used by the local organisation after the volunteer's departure.<\/span><\/p>\n Description of activity<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The volunteer will be primarily dedicated to building the digital and communication capacity of ADRA Uganda staff:<\/span>
- IT and software skills training<\/span>
- creation of educational materials and manuals<\/span>
- providing workshops at different levels of sophistication<\/span>
- analysis of staff needs and design of individual training plans<\/span>
- support in social media management, content creation and online communication<\/span>
- translations and assistance in creating PR outputs (newsletters, blogs, campaigns)<\/span>
- participation in the field in documenting activities and creating success stories<\/span>
- preparation of documents for reporting<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
