People in the housing estates cook on fires outside their houses, they have to buy water in bottles, at night part of the city is plunged into darkness, generators are humming everywhere... The hospital that takes care of the whole catchment area is struggling with a lot of wounded and a shortage of almost everything the paramedics need to be able to save lives.\u201c<\/p>\n

\"\"We brought 16 reclining beds for the ICU and the inpatient ward, a gynaecological chair, incubators for the maternity ward, room equipment, sterile dressing material, and a lot of medical supplies to the hospital in \u0160ostka. The truck and our small truck were unloaded, taken over and placed directly on the wards by the staff along with dedicated volunteers from our ADRA team, which also works here - for many at the very end of the world.   <\/p>\n
