In a matter of seconds, thousands of families in Venezuela lost their sense of security. A powerful earthquake A 7.5-magnitude earthquake struck the northern part of the country<\/strong> and damaged homes, public buildings, and infrastructure. Many people have had to leave their homes and are spending their days and nights fearing further aftershocks.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

P<\/b>According to initial estimates, approximately 3.9 million people were in the areas affected by strong tremors. <\/b>The situation is still evolving, and the extent of the damage is gradually being assessed. However, humanitarian organizations are already highlighting the urgent need for emergency shelter, food, access to drinking water, hygiene supplies, and medical care.<\/p>\n

\"\"Moreover, the disaster struck a country that has been facing a serious humanitarian crisis for years. Many Venezuelans are struggling with a lack of basic necessities and limited access to health care. The aftermath of the earthquake is thus further exacerbating their vulnerability.<\/p>\n

Our partner organization, ADRA Venezuela, immediately activated its emergency response plan and began assessing needs in the hardest-hit areas.<\/p>\n

Through this fundraiser, we aim to support humanitarian aid focused on ensuring access to safe water, basic hygiene supplies, and sanitation for families affected by the earthquake. However, the number of people in need of assistance far exceeds the available resources.<\/p>\n
