Dear volunteers
After many years we are renewing the activity of ADRA summer work camps for volunteers. It is an opportunity to do something really useful = to get involved in practical help for people who really need it. It won't be easy, because we will touch the suffering of people for which we don't know an explanation or a real solution. We can just get over ourselves for a while and help selflessly for a few days, as much as we can...
We return to Social Services Home in Pohorelská Maša, where ADRA has helped in the past and they still remember this service fondly. In this home there are 120 clients with different degrees of physical and mental disabilities. From completely independent to recumbent patients who need constant help. Our ministry will focus on serving the clients but also hands-on activities in repairing and maintaining the home's facilities and park.

WHO: Age min. 18 years, involvement min. 1 week. Capacity 10 volunteers.
CONDITIONS: Accommodation: gym + tents, own sleeping bags, foam mattresses, food and working tools
COSTS: cADRA pays for the cost of accommodation, meals and other expenses.
