Reward: 700 EUR (gross wage for 20 hours/week)
Job description
Project management and administration
- Coordination of European Solidarity Corps (ESC) projects to send volunteers to Uganda, Georgia and Serbia
- Working under the supervision of the Programme Manager and responsible for the substantive and financial management of projects
- Preparation of project reports, reports and documentation for internal needs and for European partners
Recruitment and selection of volunteers
- Active recruitment of volunteers from EU countries through online interviews and selection processes
- Organising and conducting online training sessions for selected volunteers prior to their deployment
Supervision and mentoring
- Supervision of volunteers during their stay in host countries
- Mentoring and support for volunteers throughout the deployment cycle
Communication
- Producing communication outputs from project activities (stories, reports, content for social media)
- Working with the communications team to present projects externally
Requirements for the candidate
Education and experience
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in humanities, social sciences, economics, languages or a related field
- Previous volunteering experience - ideally abroad or a long-term stay in developing countries
Language skills
- Fluent English (both written and spoken) - essential
- Another foreign language an advantage

- High level of autonomy and organisation
- Attention to detail and precision in administration
- Excellent communication skills, active listening and empathy
- Systems thinking and the ability to navigate more complex processes
- Proactivity and ability to work in an international environment

Key Responsibilities:
Field work and search: Actively seeking out and contacting inactive people directly in the community.
Individual counselling: Providing motivational counselling, creating personal action plans and accompanying clients on the path to restoring social and work habits.
Communication and support: Working with job centres, employers and community and social services in the region.
Administrative administration: Maintaining project records, reports and related administration.
