PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA IN ACCORDANCE WITH EU REGULATION
At ADRA Slovakia, we have also prepared for the new European Union Regulation on the protection of personal data and we want to assure you that we take care of your personal data responsibly. In connection with this European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection, we bring you an overview of the processing of your personal data and your rights.
Your personal data is processed exclusively in accordance with applicable legislation. We process personal data only with the consent of the client. It is up to the client's free choice whether or not to provide his/her consent to the extent proposed by us. The provision of consent is entirely voluntary and once consent has been given, it can be withdrawn at any time. We are bound by and fully respect the scope of the consent provided.

1. Purpose of processing
We will process your personal data for the purpose of providing free legal advice and representation, psychological assistance and social assistance. Also for the purpose of carrying out the newsletter mailing and receiving financial donations.

3. Processing time
Your personal data will be securely stored, collected, processed and archived for the purpose of keeping accounting records and documents for a period of 10 years (on the basis of Article 431/2002 Coll. on accounting, as amended) from the last completed order.

„A “cookie" is a small file, usually consisting of letters and numbers, that we send to a browser cookie on your computer's hard drive via our web server. The main purpose of the cookie is to enable our web server to present a personalised website to the user, making the experience of visiting the ADRA Slovakia website more personal, while making the website more responsive to the individual needs of the user. IP address
An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a series of numbers that are automatically assigned to a user's computer whenever it connects to its Internet service provider. Web servers automatically identify a user's computer through the assigned IP address while the user is online. We take the liberty of informing users of our site that we may collect information about a user's computer, including IP address, operating system and browser type, for the purpose of system administration and auditing website usage. We do not associate the IP address of a website user with any data through which he or she can be personally identified, i.e. each connection of the user is logged, but the user remains anonymous to us.
5. Web metrics and analytics
The ADRA website uses Google Analytics in basic settings without storing personal data.
6. Advertising and promotional services
If you enter your email address, first and last name in the homepage (https://www.adra.sk) RECEIVE ADRA NEWS BY EMAIL: your e-mail address is included in the ADRA SK database for sending out information about our activities/projects/campaigns etc. Your e-mail address is also included in the database after participation in ADRA events, if you confirm your consent to the distribution of the above information by your signature or on the basis of a legitimate interest (e.g. after donating via the donation portal Darujme.sk).

7. Transfer of personal data to third parties
For specific processing operations that we cannot provide in-house, we use the services and applications of processors who are able to protect the data sufficiently and specialise in this processing.

MailChimp is based in the USA and is certified and falls under the „Privacy Shield Framework“ (an agreement between the EU and the USA that guarantees compliance with the Privacy Shield rules).
8. Transfer of data outside the European Union
We process data for mailings through CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, specifically MailChimp, based in the USA, which is certified and falls under the „Privacy Shield Framework“ (an agreement between the EU and the USA that guarantees compliance with the Privacy Shield rules).
We only include data in these systems for which you have given your explicit consent by signing the attendance form or by voluntarily entering your email address in the homepage section. RECEIVE ADRA NEWS BY EMAIL:
I hereby give my consent to the management, processing and storage of the above personal data for the purpose of sending information about events, activities, projects, campaigns organized by ADRA such as ADRA evenings, projects, seminars, discussions, in accordance with Act No.18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data. I give my consent to the controller ADRA SK. ADRA SK uses the US-based MailChimp application to process personal data, which is certified and falls under the „Privacy Shield Framework“ (an agreement between the EU and the US that guarantees compliance with the Privacy Shield rules).
9. Right of access to data
The user has the right to obtain information about the purpose and scope of the processing of his/her personal data.
10. Right to data portability
It is the controller's obligation to provide the data subject with all the information processed about him in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. By exercising this right, the user obtains control over his personal data and has the same possibility to sell it in the form thus obtained to another controller.
11. Right to rectification of data
The user has the right to request the data controller to correct the stored data in case of suspected inaccuracy. You can send a request for rectification to the following address office@adra.sk.
12. Right to limited data processing
The user has the right to have the controller restrict the processing of his/her personal data or make the selected personal data unavailable.
13. Right to erasure
The user has the right to have his/her personal data deleted without undue delay if they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected or processed and the lawful reason for their possible archiving has passed. Upon request for erasure, all irretrievably deleted data and related orders (if any) will be anonymised. You can send a request for deletion of data to the following address office@adra.sk.
14. The right to be forgotten
The user has the right to take reasonable steps, including technical measures, to delete all references to his/her personal data and copies thereof, if the lawful reason for their possible archiving has passed.
15. Right to object
The user has the right to object to the processing of personal data or, if he/she does not have the possibility, to exercise the right to erasure.
16. Right to lodge a complaint
The user has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if he/she considers that the processing of his/her personal data is in breach of the GDPR. However, we will be happy if you contact us in such a case in the first instance. We will be happy to rectify any shortcomings we have identified.
17. Logging user requests
The ADRA SK controller is obliged to record all requests from users in relation to the withdrawal, correction and deletion of their data.
18. Ensuring data protection
To protect your personal data, we have adopted and maintain technical and organisational measures to prevent the misuse, damage or destruction of your personal data.
19. Silence
Our staff and associates who come into contact with your personal data are trained on how to handle personal data to ensure maximum protection and are bound by confidentiality of personal data. This continues even after our cooperation has ended.
