Team ADRA is again helping in Pohorelska Masha.

This summer we also came to help in the home for mentally and physically handicapped clients in Pohorel masha. Traditionally, trips to the surroundings are the most successful. Pohronská železnička is a popular place where we can transport clients by help team bus and vans. Along the way and on the trains there is time to chat together and answer lots of curious questions.

Thank you to the team of volunteers (24 of us this year) who sacrificed their valuable holiday time for those who have time to spare but cannot use it themselves. For young people and students, it is also a difficult but extremely rewarding experience at times - to touch the reality of people with severe disabilities, to listen to their stories (if they can talk) and to be part of caring and helping. As well as the trips, we also get the chance to do lots of manual labour in building maintenance, which is also a big help.
