The Pohoda Festival is an opportunity to get involved in helping Ukraine. Participants can pack their own humanitarian aid package and add their personal message...
We took the opportunity to do something useful together with thousands of people at the Pohoda festival in Trenčín. In our large-capacity tent, people can prepare humanitarian aid packages consisting of non-perishable food and hygiene items together with our volunteers. People can also attach a short personal message for the recipients of the aid. The aid packages will then be sent to Ukraine.
More than 13,000 families have already received such aid packages in the cities of Irpin, Bucha, Dnipro, Kharkov, Chernivtsi, Vinnitsa, Borodanka and others. Currently, every week ADRA Slovakia fills and sends 1 truck (20t, 1320 packages on 33 pallets). Our partners from ADRA Ukraine distribute them to refugees who had to leave their homes, but also to people in war-torn areas.
Alex, a volunteer from Ukraine, has been working with us since the beginning of this crisis: „At Pohoda we want to tell every visitor how important it is to help people in Ukraine. Unfortunately, the war is not over yet and the situation of the people is getting worse. In our ADRA tent, Pohoda participants can try their hand at wrapping aid packages, and we will deliver them to Ukrainian families who are suffering from the effects of the war.“
If you are not at Pohoda, but you also want to help, you can donate such a help package to https://www.adra.sk/…/balik-pomoci-pre-rodinu-na-ukrajinu/. We will buy, package and deliver the food to Ukraine directly into the hands of the people. Thank you!
Within our tent at Pohoda there is also an organization Who will help Ukraine / Who will help Ukraine Aupark.
