Child's situation:

Maria lives with her younger brother Moses in the Matugga-Wakiso slum on the outskirts of Kampala, cared for by their mother, who is a single mother. They live in the settlement, in a poor mud hut. Very poor living conditions in an environment of disease and infection. 
The mother has no job, is a single mother and cannot earn enough money to provide for the basic needs of the family and keep the children in school.
She has no sustainable source of income and living conditions are very difficult for her. She is very grateful for the opportunity to send a girl to a school where she can eat every day in addition to learning.

Support is essential to ensure the child's education and basic living needs.
In addition to education, the school fees, which include food, will provide the basic necessities of life, such as a hot meal every day.
If we help this child to get a good education, he or she can have a good future in life.

Family income: No steady income, just donations and income from odd jobs in the neighborhood, most often for food.

Sponsorship will cover: school fees, school supplies, school uniform, hot lunch, basic medicines and first aid for children at school.
