In 2017 ADRA Slovakia took part in a two-year project HVM (Humanitarian Volunteering Management) to strengthen and sustain the management of humanitarian volunteers. In 2019, it is involved in its continuation in the form of another two-year project HVA (Humanitarian Volunteers in Action), under which directly selected candidates will already be prepared and sent on their „mission“ to post-conflict countries. The project is implemented thanks to the financial support of the European Union under the „EU Aid Voluneers“ initiative. It is led by the French organisation ADICE, which brings together a total of twelve partners from the European Union, the Balkans, the Caucasus and the Maghreb.
