Child's situation:
Alice Bilindwa and her three siblings are half-orphans, living only with their mother, who is lame, in a small house that someone rented for them.  
Their mother, Claudine Furaha, was a victim of violence in Congo, where she was wounded and subsequently fled with her children to Uganda. Her serious leg injuries were not can be successfully cured, so she remains lame and moves only with the help of crutches. She is unable to pay school fees for all her children as she has no job and cannot find one because of her disability. The family is supported by food aid and financial support provided by the WFP (World Food Programme).
Location: The family lives in Kyjaka II refugee camp in Uganda.
Family income: Support from the WFP Food Fund of UGX 13,000 (€3.50)/month/person.
Sponsorship support needed: 20.-€/month,
Sponsorship will cover: school fees, school supplies, school uniform, hot lunch.
 
Alice Bilindwa has already found her donor family.
