Child's situation: Lea was found as a small abandoned child on the street during the war. No one knows who her parents were and what happened to them. This family took her in and cared for her from a very young age. They are all refugees and live in a refugee settlement in great poverty. They depend on financial support from the WFP (World Food Programme), which is not enough to cover their basic needs.
Thanks to the HELP kids programme, Lea also got the chance to go to school and get a hot lunch every day.
 
Location: He lives in a refugee community with people from Congo, Rwanda, Burundi in Kyjaka Refugee Camp II part of Sweswe Dam I in Uganda.
Family income: Support from the WFP Food Fund of UGX 13,000 (€3.50)/month/person.
Sponsorship support needed: 20.-€/month,
Sponsorship will cover: school fees, school supplies, school uniform, hot lunch.
