Child's situation:

Asumin Bahirah lives in the Nabweru North II slum on the outskirts of Kampala.

The mother is a poor woman and cannot afford to ensure that Rita can go to school and get at least a basic education.
The family is in a very bad way and is also rejected by society. It has no sustainable source of income and living conditions are difficult.
The mother is equally uneducated and unemployed.

Support is essential to ensure the child's education and basic living needs.
School fees, which include food, will provide for the basic necessities of life in addition to education.
If we help this child to get a good education, he or she may be able to help other children in need in the future.

Family income: No steady income, just donations and income from odd jobs in the neighborhood, most often for food.

 

Sponsorship support needed: 35.-€/month,

Sponsorship will cover: school fees, school supplies, school uniform, hot lunch, basic medicines and first aid for children at school.
