Child's situation:

Hazirat lives with his mother and sister in the outskirts of Kampala in a slum area where living conditions are very difficult and hygiene, morbidity and mortality are very poor.

Despite her age, the girl has not yet attended school and is illiterate. She lives with her mother who suffers from mental illness. The father has abandoned them because of this. The mother's health does not allow her to find a serious job.

The girl needs school fees, food and school supplies so that she can finally start going to school and get at least a basic education. However, her mother is unable to pay the school fees.

Family income:

Mother does occasional manual work or helps neighbours. However, this is not even enough to feed the family, let alone pay for school fees.

Sponsorship support needed: 35.-€/month,

Sponsorship will cover: school fees, school supplies, school uniform, hot lunch, basic medicines and first aid for children at school.
