What was our surprise when we suddenly found ourselves in the wooden house of a grandmother whose story was so touching and whose smile so captivating that she became the face of our 2025 calendar. And now we have suddenly met her again at the personal handover of the aid packages. 

Together with Adriana we hugged and even had a little cry with her. She can hardly hear anymore, but she kept repeating her sincere „Thank you“ over and over again.

Never mind that a Shahid drone crashed into a neighbour's garden only the day before yesterday, the explosion causing a two-metre deep crater, destroying a shed and damaging the roof of the house. The debris is still lying there and, as the neighbour said, it is only by some miracle that nobody was hurt.

So once again we have seen up close the reality of war, which unfortunately does not happen on the front line, but every day affects the lives of even the poorest people who deserve nothing...

The local ADRA team from Shostka is visiting them personally and handing over our humanitarian aid to make it easier for them. Thank you for your support.
