On Saturday evening, Ukrainian singer Oksana Kozun - Turcerova delighted the Košice audience with her amazing voice.
The concert was in the spirit of helping Ukraine and culminated in a touching moment when Oksana invited her compatriots to sing a folk song. It was the third and final in a series of benefit concerts in support of Ukraine. The concert was also a big thank you to all the dedicated volunteers who continue to help alleviate the effects of the war in Ukraine. Their help goes to families who have found temporary shelter in Slovakia, as well as preparing aid packages to send to Ukraine or supporting us financially.
In addition to donating through our HelpShop, the concert visitors also contributed cash - a donation in the total amount of 1 341,76 € and 20 CHF. Thank you very much for your support and trust.
Also thanks to these benefit concerts, we shipped 2 truckloads of aid packages in 3 days last week. The total value of this aid was 130 000 €. Our partners from ADRA Ukraine subsequently take care of distribution on the territory of Ukraine.
