Age/Gender: 4 years old boy

Child's situation: Bienaime was born with a disability (cerebral hydrocephalus) in a small village in the Congo. The villagers began to fear that their children would contract the disease, so they expelled the family. They found refuge in the Kyjaka II refugee camp in Uganda.The family still has 3 healthy children, living in a mud hut in extreme poverty. The father tries to support the family by doing farm work.
Thanks to donors, we managed to secure a rehabilitation walker and the boy is now back on his feet. We have provided his father with a bicycle so that he can take him to the kindergarten, where they are willing to accept him despite his handicap. We are also looking for a donor for his two sisters Kabatesi Rosette and Asifiwe Grace so that they can go to school.
Location: He lives in a refugee community with people from Congo, Rwanda, Burundi in Kyjaka Refugee Camp II part of Sweswe in Uganda.
Family income: Support from the WFP Food Fund of UGX 13,000 (€3.50)/month/person.
Sponsorship support needed: 20.-€/month,
Sponsorship will cover: school fees, school supplies, school uniform, hot lunch.
