Gifts for children in Uganda

We donated toys to children in Uganda.

Do you have a remote-controlled car at home that your kids don't play with anymore? Or a doll that's left lying on the shelf? There is a way to bring these toys back to life - by donating them to children who have no toys of their own.

As part of our HelpKids project, we help children in Uganda not only by sponsoring school fees, but also by donating toys and school supplies. We cooperate with the organization OMEP (Organization Mondiale pour l'Éducation Préscolaire), which brings together kindergartens. Thanks to the children from these schools, we were able to fill entire suitcases with toys and school supplies.

Before departure, we had to „remove“ the flashlights of some of the toys so that they could travel safely. Then we transported the suitcases as luggage directly to Uganda.

We handed over the mysterious suitcases full of toys to the children right in the classrooms. Try to imagine the indescribable joy when children in a refugee camp held a doll or a car in their hands for the first time in their lives.

Thank you to all the children who gave up their toys to make others happy. You have made a really big step towards the happiness of children in Africa. And we've recorded it for you in a short video - see the joy for yourself!
