Together with a partner organisation ADRA Ukrajina we handed over and put into operation the generators donated by our donors from Slovakia - EPH Foundation a Nafta a.s.. The generators serve as backup sources of electricity in the refugee centres in the cities of Bucha and Suvid (Kyiv region), Noviy Rozdil (Lviv region), Novomoskovsk (Dnipropetrovsk region), Noviye Obychody (Vinnytsia region), Brestiv (Transcarpathia region) and Kamianka (Cherkasy region).

 

Winter in refugee centres is often very harsh, especially due to frequent power cuts. Thanks to the generators, we gave people back not only light but also heat, even during the attacks and power cuts that people across Ukraine face every day.
