Child's situation: Juslain lives with his mother in a small hut on the road to the village of Sweswe, which was given to them by good people to live in temporarily. Fazila (the mother) is a widow with special needs (she suffered from mental illness), which makes it difficult for her to find a job and provide for herself and her children. Therefore, they are left with little money for food or other basic needs. They are often dependent on what their neighbours give them for food. Juslain has grown up unsupervised since childhood, yet he enjoys going to school and learns well.

The family lives in Kyjaka II refugee camp in Uganda.

Family income: support from the WFP food fund of 13 000 UGX (3,50.-€)/month/person.

Sponsorship needed: 20.-€/month, (elementary school 7 yrs.)

The sponsorship will cover: school fees, school supplies, school uniform, hot lunch.
