Jean Robert Manembo

Age/Gender: 7 years old, male

Parent/Guardian: Marie Gilbert Manembo - mother

Child's situation:

A 5-member refugee family lives in Kyaka II settlement. The father Gilbert has serious health problems due to a spinal injury, so he cannot work manually, which makes the family's living conditions difficult. Wife Judith Lumo, Takes over All responsibility and takes care of the whole family's livelihood.

The family depends on monthly aid rations (WFP - World Food Programme) of 12,000 UGX, (3.50€/month/person), and the efforts of the wife. However, when she tried to look for work to provide food outside the refugee camp, she faced threats and attempted rape, so she is afraid to look for work with the locals. This made the family's situation even worse.

JUDITH is a skilled hairdresser and is looking for a little financial support so that she can buy the necessary equipment and start braiding her own hair to support her family.

The support is intended for their eldest son, who should already be starting school. Support for school costs will help the whole family.

Family income: Support from the WFP Food Fund of 12 000 UGX (3,50.-€)/month/person.
Occasional work in or around the market.

Sponsorship support needed: 20.-€/month,
Sponsorship will cover: school fees, school supplies, school uniform, hot lunch, basic medicines and first aid for children at school.

Jean Robert Manembo has already found a donor family.
THANK YOU! 🙂
