Child's situation:

Sophia lives in the Nabweru North II slum on the outskirts of Kampala, cared for by her grandmother. She rents a small house and their life is very difficult and hard.
The grandmother is already weak and unable to earn money to take care of her elderly granddaughter's needs.
It has no sustainable source of income and living conditions are poor. She is dependent on the help of good people in the neighbourhood.

Support is essential to ensure the child's education and basic living needs.
In addition to education, the school fees, which include food, will provide the basic necessities of life, such as a hot meal every day.
If we help this child to get a good education, he or she can have a good future in life.

Family income: No steady income, just donations and income from odd jobs in the neighborhood, most often for food.

 

Sponsorship support needed: 35.-€/month,

Sponsorship will cover: school fees, school supplies, school uniform, hot lunch, basic medicines and first aid for children at school.
