Milika Sendegeya
Age/Gender: By birth. 2018, girl
Parent/Guardian: Kabuo Florida - Grandma.
As a grandmother, Kabuo cares for five children. She does everything she can to take care of them despite very limited resources. The children attend school, and the grandmother tries to cover the cost of their education but can no longer afford to pay for their school supplies. In addition, the children lack adequate clothing and the school uniforms are already extremely old and worn out.
They live in a mud hut in a refugee camp. At night, all five children have to sleep on one mattress on the bare ground, which is unhealthy and the children don't get enough sleep.
My grandmother used to receive financial support for the children from the WFP (World Food Programme), but the organisation has recently ended its support for the refugees in Kyaka II camp.
The family urgently needs our support so that children can go to school, have decent clothes and live in more dignified and secure conditions.
But thanks to the HelpKids programme, we will help Milika and her siblings to live with their grandmother and go to school.
Sponsorship support needed: 20.-€/month,
Sponsorship will cover: With your support through Help Kids, you will provide one child every day with a hot meal, school uniform, school supplies and basic health care - first aid for school children.
Milika Sendegeya has already found her donor family.
THANK YOU!
