Mumbere Bisika Israel
Age/Gender: 7 years old, boy
Parent: Kambale Kighoma
Kambale's father is a Congolese refugee living in the Kyjaka II refugee area. In the west of Uganda. He has lost his wife and takes care of his two boys (7 and 5 years old) alone. He is unable to manage to provide for his livelihood and at the same time for the education and upbringing of his sons. The boys were left home alone in the hut while the father was at work. He was very anxious to be able to send them to a boarding school where they would receive food, education and upbringing.
After finding a sponsor family, both boys are now in their 2nd year at Treasure Junior School in Kampala. Israel has successfully completed pre-school with excellent grades and is moving on.
On our last visit, Dad told us: „The younger one will be a doctor and the older one will be a pastor “ 🙂
Location: Kyaka II Refugee Sattlement (refugee camp) in Uganda.
Family income: My father works as a labourer and security guard on our ADAR Slovakia farm in Uganda.
Sponsorship support needed: 60.-€/month to go to school.
Sponsorship will cover: šschool fees, accommodation, tutor, full board, school supplies, school uniform + clothes and shoes, stationery, basic health insurance and first aid fee.
For Mumbere Bisika Israel we've already found a donor family.
THANK YOU! 🙂
