He lives with his parents in a rented shack on the outskirts of Kampala in the Nabweru Nord II area, where there are slums and a very high concentration of poor people with no employment opportunities. Sanitation is very poor here, causing many diseases and health risks.

Family financial situation: Parents also struggle to provide for basic livelihoods due to illiteracy and high unemployment rates. The mother is unemployed and the father finds odd jobs to try to earn the bare minimum for his livelihood. However, they are unable to pay school fees, so the children stay at home and do not go to school.

Sponsorship support is needed so that Patricia can start school and get at least a basic education and a hot lunch every day. Education can open the way for her to be able to take care of herself in the future.
