Kayaga's mom Sarah has four children. Nansubuga Fakiira and Nabuyungo Veronica are twins. They live in a modest shack in the Kibwa slum.
My mother tries to earn some money by providing hairdressing services at home (she braids hair). However, she cannot support her four children and take care of their school fees.

Fakira goes to school, has made friends, has a hot meal every day, has clean clothes and we believe has a future ahead of her.
On her last visit she was a bit shy because the „muzungu“ are strangers and white people at that. However, she did give us a smile at the end 🙂
