A visit to our ADRA farm in Uganda

In Uganda, we met people who live in Kyaka II camp as refugees from Congo, South Sudan, Burundi and Rwanda.

These encounters are filled with mixed feelings as each one has a unique and often very difficult story to tell. „We are happy that we can help at least some of them thanks to your support,“ says our director Stano Bielik, who regularly visits our projects in Uganda and makes sure that all activities are going according to plan.

On our ADRA farm we are building new farm buildings for goats and cows to provide milk for schools and the hospital. Right now we are training small farmers and have provided them with seeds and tools to grow their own crops.

We also visited our HELPKIDS programme, through which you can also give education to children in a refugee camp. We met the families of the children who are part of the programme and saw the huge impact your support has.

Our journey is slowly coming to an end, but we still have some important visits and meetings to attend, which we will inform you about tomorrow.
