During our monitoring trip in Lebanon, we heard the difficult stories of Syrian refugees.
Preachers from the Western Slovakia region also came to the warehouse, which also serves as a packing centre, and the ceremonial ribbon was cut by the chairman himself. Slovak Association of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (CASD), Mr František Kolesár.
NHowever, only the ceremonies remained. The preachers immediately got to work and, together with volunteers, began to prepare humanitarian aid packages for the people of Ukraine. Our timing was really good - during the packing process we managed to pack package #30,000, which represents more than 90,000 people helped by the packages!
We are pleased that CASD members view the assistance to Ukraine very positively, as evidenced by their active support of our activities and the involvement of church congregations in our activities since the beginning of the war. We thank CASD for their spiritual support and God's protection, without which we would not be able to help on such a scale.
