We are looking for Psychosocial support worker to work with refugees from Ukraine.

Wage conditions (gross)
1200 - 1400€ gross, depending on qualifications and experience

 

JOB SUMMARY

  • Provision of assistance to clients (refugees from Ukraine) in the form of social and psychological counselling
  • Helping to provide for the basic needs of clients
  • Communicating with authorities and state institutions
  • Organisation of community events for leavers
  • Collaboration with the field team on project activities
  • Cooperation and Coordination with other organisations 
  • Participation in working group meetings 
  • Client data collection and output processing 

 

WHAT WE EXPECT

  • Higher education in the humanities ( social work/psychology and related fields)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the social field 
  • Experience working directly with clients and refugees
  • Knowledge of current legislation concerning expatriates
  • Mobility within Slovakia (occasional trips)
  • Knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian language, min. B2
  • Knowledge of the English language an advantage
  • Knowledge of working with PC, MS Office
  • Precision, conscientiousness, responsibility, independence and teamwork
