This year we are celebrating 25 years of our humanitarian and development organization ADRA Slovakia. During the summer anniversary celebration you had the opportunity to learn more or less formally - how we help in the poorest regions of the world, but also at home in Slovakia. Also this year, during Saturdays with „adra“ (8 December) we will give you an overview of our work and how you can get involved with us.
Thematically, during the Saturday with „adra“ we will focus on the work of our KIT (Crisis Intervention Team) and its important “Living with Dignity” campaign. The main slogan is: „I am what I may!?“ with the subtitle: relationships and violence. The KIT experts will try to explain to the attendees how this relates to values such as love and justice, and whether psychology and law can help us in this. We will also look at a specific example of a client where a case of domestic violence was dealt with. Although it is not a cheerful topic, it can be presented to the elderly and children in an engaging, sensitive and informative way.
We are looking forward to meeting you and your questions - in the morning during the presentation and discussion with the guests live in Bratislava (as part of live video transmission also in other branches in the Slovak Republic).
