Unprecedented weather vagaries, fires and other disasters do not bypass Slovakia
- The high summer heat triggered severe thunderstorms with torrential rains that flooded several villages.
- In Telgart, a devastating fire destroyed part of a settlement and left more than 75 people homeless.
- In Eastern Slovakia, storms raged with extreme ice storms that shattered roofs, destroyed cars, and water flooded homes and basements.
When, where and who will they hit next?
Local governments and citizens alike are calling us asking for help. Our possibilities are limited. That's why we at ADRA decided to set up a fund SOS Slovakia.
