ADRA Slovakia has been helping people in need and changing their lives for the better in Slovakia and in developing countries for almost 25 years. In 2016, we sent 11 volunteers into the world and engaged another 50 in aid. We trained nearly 200 people in Ukraine and gave 522 farmers in Kenya a chance for a new life. We connected over 800 people in Moldova to water purifiers, we are providing hot meals for 50 homeless people in Eastern Slovakia, and we are helping 100 people with international protection in Western Slovakia. Our volunteer Samuel was named SlovakAid Volunteer of the Year 2016 and President Andrej Kiska invited our director Daniel Kaba to Kenya on a working trip to learn more about our projects.
