Yoweri Irumva
Age/Gender: By birth. 2015, male
Parent: Paul Mbuta – guardian
Yoweri and his sister Deborah are orphans. Paul took them into his family in early 2026, when the mud hut where they had been living alone since their mother’s death collapsed. There was no one to take care of them, so Paul offered them shelter and support.
A year ago, these two children lost their mother, who had been caring for them. After her death, the children stayed with their father for a short time, but he couldn’t cope with the tragedy and soon ran away—no one knows where. The children remained alone for some time in a rented mud hut until it collapsed.
This tragic situation prompted Paul to take care of the children. Although Paul already has a family of his own to support, he couldn't turn them away because the children needed someone to look after them.
Since then, Paul and his family have been providing for their basic needs and helping them overcome the trauma of their family tragedy. He enrolled them in school so they could build a more secure future.
Paul runs a small business at the market, but his income isn't enough to support both his own children and these orphans.
That is why the school has proposed including them in its sponsorship program. With your contribution, you will ensure that Yoweri, too, can go to school and receive a hot meal every day. Paul continues to care for him and his sister and has welcomed them into his family.
Sponsorship support needed: 20.-€/month,
Sponsorship will cover: With your support through Help Kids, you will provide one child every day with a hot meal, school uniform, school supplies and basic health care - first aid for school children.
I want to support the HelpKids Kyjaka II program.
I hereby commit myself to systematically support the child's education:
