Collection of dry food for people in need
Join now in collecting dry food for people who have been forced to leave their homes and start a new life in safety in Slovakia. Help our Adráčik fill their pantry with food for 13 families in need.
Who is the aid for?
These are people who fled war and persecution. They have been granted international protection and are now part of our STEP 3 integration programme. They are required to attend Slovak language classes, discover our culture, and make new friends. We help them to find school, work, housing, doctors, to deal with official matters. In addition to legal and psycho-social help, they need your help now.
How can you help?
ADRA Slovakia announces a collection of dry food for these people under the name ADRA pantry. The food collected will help people in need to get through a more difficult time. You can probably imagine that starting out in a foreign country is not easy. Please, if you can, just bring or send food:
- unopened
- under warranty
- durable
For example: pasta, flour, rice, sugar, pulses, cereals, teas, canned/condensed vegetables/fruits (peas, corn, beans, etc.). The food collected from the ADRA pantry will be given to those most in need. You can also involve your neighbourhood or people in your company. Thank you for helping with us.

Until 21.00 you can drop off food in the ŠKODA building next door at the gatehouse - Sabinovská 6, just ring the bell at the entrance. Thank you for your help, and to our kind and helpful informants at the concierge desk who take over the food for us in the evenings.

Donate online now - we will fill the ADRA pantry for you
You can also participate in the collection by simply sending us any amount you wish through the online donation portal and we will purchase the necessary food for you, in the warehouse, at bargain prices.
