Generators for Ukraine

We have handed over generators to medical facilities in Kiev.

On Friday, January 6, 2023, we solemnly (in the ambulance garage of the ambulance ambulance) tested and handed over 4 generators for use, which will serve 4 centers of the emergency medical service in Kiev and its suburbs. The electric generators were donated to us by CAP Foundation a EPH Foundation, and will help save lives even during attacks and power cuts.

ADRA report from Ukraine captures our trip to Ukraine and the handover generators
in Kiev hospitals. (January 2023)

The head doctor of the emergency medical service expressed his gratitude to ADRE and to all the Slovaks who took part in the aid: „It is the most beautiful Christmas gift we could have received. Without electricity we cannot save human lives. Power cuts are very frequent at this time of year and we cannot predict them. Our rescue teams have to be on constant alert because of missile attacks. We thank the donors and all the good people in Slovakia who are helping us to save lives.“ Executive Director ADRA Ukraine, Mr Artyom Dichtyaryuk, will take care of the commissioning of the generators and ensure their regular monitoring.

A representative was also present at the handover of the generators Slovak Embassy in Ukraine - Deputy Ambassador, Mr. Juraj Balogh, who appreciated the cooperation and assistance of non-profit organizations in providing humanitarian aid.

ADRA Ukraine will hand over the remaining generators in the battle-torn towns of eastern Ukraine, which continue to struggle desperately with a lack of electricity.

But that's not all! Thanks to a generous gift from ADRA Germany We are already preparing to transport another 61 generators to Ukraine. The winter with its -10°C is making itself known to us, proving that light and warmth are essential for survival.

Thank you to all of you who support our ministry in any way.
