Do you want to gain valuable first-hand experience in the humanitarian and development sector while spending next to nothing? Then we're offering you two international opportunities right now.
We will cover all costs you incur before and during your secondment, including transport, visas, medical check-ups, and insurance. In addition, you will receive a monthly allowance of between €610 and €760, depending on the location of the secondment. However, this is not a salary, but an allowance to cover essential costs in the place of stay (food, accommodation, local transport).
VOLUNTEER IN SERBIA FOR 12 MONTHS (BELGRADE)You will work on our partner's projects ADRA Serbia, aimed at improving the quality of life of excluded communities - the homeless, refugees, Roma. In addition to experience in PR and communications, you will gain insight into project management and administration and experience working directly in the field.
VOLUNTEER IN SERBIA FOR 6 MONTHS (NOVI PAZAR)In the organisation Merhamet Sandžak, based in the heart of the multi-ethnic city of Novi Pazar, you will assist on social entrepreneurship projects, promote employment of excluded communities and actively contribute to building partnerships between communities and local stakeholders. If you want to gain experience in fundraising and project management, this position is perfect for you!

The condition of posting is:
Slovak citizenship Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (international relations, development studies, social work, project management, public administration and public policy, etc.) English language - advancedWe have a long tradition with foreign volunteer projects, as evidenced by the dozens of volunteers we have sent to various countries around the world, as well as the four times we have been awarded the „Volunteer of the Year“ award by our volunteers. We provide our deployed volunteers with high-quality pre-departure training and regular mentoring during their stay.
We have already cooperated with the above mentioned organisations and we have sent 2 SlovakAid volunteers to Serbia in the last year.
