Age/Gender: 6 years old girl

Child's situation: Rosette and her parents had to flee Konago because they had a baby brother with a brain disability and people were afraid he would infect other children (although the disability is not contagious). They found refuge in Kyjaka II refugee camp in Uganda.
Together with 3 other siblings, they live in a mud hut in extreme poverty. The father tries to support the family by doing farm work.
Rosette loves to learn and thanks to the HELPKIDS programme she also got the chance to go to school.
Location: He lives in a refugee community with people from Congo, Rwanda, Burundi in Kyjaka Refugee Camp II part of Sweswe in Uganda.
Family income: Support from the WFP Food Fund of UGX 13,000 (€3.50)/month/person.
Sponsorship support needed: 20.-€/month,
Sponsorship will cover: school fees, school supplies, school uniform, hot lunch.
Kabatesi Rosette has already found her donor family.
