We are grateful that we were able to do our small part to help alleviate suffering and meet the most basic needs of the people we served in Slovakia and abroad.   

However, this was only possible thanks to you - our donors, sponsors and individual donors. That is why we want to express one big THANK YOU! To all the dedicated people of goodwill who have shown your trust in us and supported our ministry.

It's been another year! Who would have thought in January 2021 what we would be facing and where our little ADRA team would be involved in helping. We have experienced the first serious tornado in Central Europe, the coronavirus pandemic continues to plague us despite all measures, the number of people dependent on aid in Slovakia is growing, many DSS are in crisis, Lebanon is on its knees, the number of refugees we care for is growing in Uganda, we are struggling with malnutrition in Rwanda, homeless people in Slovakia and in Belgrade, Serbia, are finding it hard to survive the winter...

I cannot give a complete list of all those to whom thanks are due. It would be long and I would certainly forget someone.

However, I would like to express my gratitude to at least some of the donors who systematically support us and significantly help us to implement our humanitarian and development aid projects.

Thanks to hundreds of pallets of material aid from the company AMAZON we have been able to systematically support more than 50 social service facilities and organisations that work with clients with special needs and people in need. This has made life easier for thousands of people in Slovakia and the Czech Republic and helped them to overcome the crisis.

Thanks to a long-term partnership with Slovak AID we were able to implement humanitarian and development aid projects in Lebanon, Serbia, Uganda and Rwanda.

Thanks to the yellow van that we SPP distribution has made available free of charge, for more than a year we have been delivering material aid to DSS, various social institutions and our partner organisations all over Slovakia. Behind the thousands of kilometres driven are thousands of people who have received urgent help.

SAD Zvolen donated the largest material donation to ADRA. It is 13,5m long and weighs 12t. We have rebuilt the bus and today it serves as a mobile infirmary for medics, volunteers and help teams in the most remote corners of Slovakia.  

Adventist Church s.d. is the founder of ADRA and our systematic donor. Thank you to all the believers of this Christian community who support us and work with us as volunteers.

Company Šimúnek It is our long-term partner and sponsor thanks to which we have warehouse space and the necessary logistics for the distribution of material aid for Slovakia and abroad.
