Child's situation: Salima lives in an earthen house covered with a tarp. They live in great poverty and cannot ensure that their children can go to school. They cannot provide enough food, so the children suffer from malnutrition, and Salima also has mental health problems, but she is able to learn and wants to go to school with other children.
They depend on financial support from the WFP (World Food Programme), which is not enough to cover basic needs.Thanks to the HELP kids programme, Salima also got the chance to go to school and get a hot lunch every day.
Location: He lives in a refugee community with people from Congo, Rwanda, Burundi in Kyjaka Refugee Camp II part of Sweswe Dam I in Uganda.
Family income: Support from the WFP Food Fund of UGX 13,000 (€3.50)/month/person.
Sponsorship support needed: 20.-€/month,
Sponsorship will cover: school fees, school supplies, school uniform, hot lunch.
