Our colleagues from ADRA Slovenia inform us about the scale of the disaster after the storms: „We have already experienced tornadoes, earthquakes, hailstorms, landslides... but we have not yet seen a disaster of this magnitude here. The number of flooded areas continues to rise and many people are still waiting on the roofs of their houses to be evacuated. In Ljubljana, the sound of sirens can be heard... helicopters are circling everywhere. We already know that the need for help will be long-term“.
