Amazon has provided great help to children and orphans in Transcarpathian region.
During generator handover ceremony in a school with a sanatorium that provides treatment for cardiovascular and respiratory diseases for children and orphans in Veľký Berezny, we supplied the facility with four pallets of ceramic tableware. These were donated by Amazon Slovakia, and the handover took place in the presence of representatives of the Government of the Slovak Republic. This generous donation is of particular importance to the facility, which cares for more than 250 children, because kitchen utensils do not have a long life with children.
Despite Amazon's long-term support, this is the first time we have shipped donated goods to Ukraine. The director of the facility, Ms. Ivanna Schulevka, sincerely thanked Amazon for the help and support provided.
In addition to kitchen utensils, we also donated food aid to the sanatorium, which will be used by the staff to prepare meals for young patients, and two pallets of children's clothes and shoes.
We also handed over to the facility Generator, which will serve as a backup power source during frequent power outages and automatic dishwasher, which will simplify the work of the kitchen staff.
