This week our other volunteer HELP TEAM is serving in one of the DSS in the Trnava region, where it is really bad... Clients are struggling with Covid, many employees are sick and medical and nursing help is needed.
Volunteer of the Year
Andriy Dichtyaruk received the „Heart on the Palm“ award in the category „Volunteer of the Year 2020“. Andrij was sent by ADRA Slovakia as a volunteer to Moldova - the poorest country in Europe - for 12 months as part of a programme supported by SlovakAid. He worked for two sister organizations, EcoVisio and Katalyst, which specialize in sustainable development, social entrepreneurship and rural development.

Unusually large gift
ADRA has received an unusually large humanitarian donation in recent days. It is 12 m long and weighs 18 tons! We received a bus as a donation. It was donated to us by Slovenská autobusová doprava Zvolen. What is it for?
